Party talked to the last two eyewitnesses. Lucas Collins who saw one while out with an Onivero who has suffered from the Sleeping Sickness, and Ivy Hawkins who saw the one that attacked the house as mentioned in the hook (the same type as the intro arc too.) She had some of the goop on her window sill and the party collected it. Rik flew off with it and a party followed. Rik got slammed into the ground by one of the creatures. Combat ensued and it disgorged a smaller version of itself, which escaped through the big one did died.
