A Cult by Any Other Name - 1 (Devon, Geleia)

Around noon, the party gathers at a small hole-in-the-wall tavern in Devon, Geleia per a job flier’s request. There, they meet an older woman in her 50s, one Lulanya Caper, the representative of the Families Affected by Constant Kidnappings. Lulanya explains to the party about the kidnappings that started about 5 months prior, happening twice a week since, and gives the party a folio filled with months of information on the supposed kidnapping.

After some questioning further about the kidnappings and situations surrounding said kidnappings, the party asks Lulanya to get a flare to fire in case she is in danger, and Jessie Shields gives her a revolver for protection. She leaves at the end of the lunch hour, and the party discusses where to go from there. Jessie, Dopple, and Zaphani decide to head to the docks to investigate the warehouses near there. Vulvenaar and Feare head off to the police department. Otis and Osyka remain behind to look through the folio for more information about what the Families Affected had found. Osyka then notices a well dressed man leaving the tavern after the rest of the party.
